Choose the correct TV size based on the viewing distance. Multiply the size of the TV screen by 2. So for a 55 inch TV, that would mean 110-inch (9.1 feet). That is it’s good to view 9 feet away from the TV.

However, in 4K Ultra HD, you can sit a little closer than that and still maintain a clear picture.

For the bedroom, you can opt for 32-43′ TV and go for 55′ or more for your living room.

You should keep in mind that beyond a certain distance from the TV, all the several versions of TVs appear to be the same. The difference between these versions starts becoming noticeable as one starts moving closer to the screen.

The presence of HDR in TVs will offer more realistic colours and better contrast. HDR is notable much on the path of becoming standard, particularly in 4K TVs.

  • HDR10 is most commonly used HDR format and supports upto 10 bit of display panel. It can display a maximum of 1 billion colours.
  • Dolby Vision supports upto 12 bit display panel. It can display 68 billion colours.
  • HDR10+ is upgraded version of HDR10. It supports dynamic metadata processing. It tells the TV how to adjust brightness levels on a frame-by-frame basis automatically.

Smart TV

You can connect your smart TV to LAN or WiFi and enjoy loads of application including browsing the internet, just like you do on your smartphones.
